This session delves into the context in China from the legal perspective, including the relevant laws and regulations about the key elements in ER, including manpower solutions, terms, probation, social insurance, overtime, separation and severance. With sufficient data provided, how to manage the compulsory baseline is discussed in depth.

This session moves forward to discuss how to effectively manage ER in China from good to great. It points out that person-organizational fit will lead to job satisfaction and a higher retention rate. Approaches and capabilities in effective ER are discussed from both the employers and employees' perspectives.
