Haitao Yin

Haitao Yin is a Professor of Business Economics and Public Policy at Antai College of Economics and Management, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He is currently serving as the Vice Dean on international outreach and MBA/EMBA/EE at Antai College. 

Haitao Yin received his Ph.D and M.A. in Applied Economics and Managerial Science from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, USA. After Upenn, he worked at the University of Michigan as a postdoctoral researcher and a lecturer, teaching global enterprises and sustainable development. In 2009, he became a faculty member at Shanghai Jiao Tong University.

Prof. Yin’s research focuses on Environmental Economics and Sustainable Development. His paper appeared in Journal of Law & Economics, Production and Operations Management, Energy Journal, Energy policy among many others. 

He is titled the “Excellent Youth Scholars in China” by the National Science Foundation and the “Top Youth Talent” by the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee. He also won the best dissertation award from the Association of Public Policy Analysis and Management (APPAM) in 2008 and the best paper award from the Society for Risk Analysis (SRA) in 2011.
