Helen is Managing Director of New Horizons Management Consulting Co. and Partner of two consulting firms, YourBoard and Management Alignment Partners. Previously, she enjoyed a rich career at DuPont, rising from research engineer in the United States to head of Asia Pacific for various businesses and functions. She has worked in multiple industries, including electronics, automotive, performance coatings, protective apparel, package printing, and flooring. Her functional experience includes strategy, corporate operations, sales, marketing, supply chain, customer service, product development, and manufacturing. 

In addition, Helen serves on the board of a number of organizations. She is on the Advisory Board of Financial Times Board Director Program. She was elected to the Board of Governors of the American Chamber of Commerce Shanghai and served on several Chamber Committees; examples include the Government Advocacy, Nomination & Election, Finance, and Ethics. Helen is an Officer and Treasurer of the Royal Asiatic Society China, which provides a forum for cultural education and international understanding. With a passion for empowering people, she is a member of the Board of Directors of Shanghai Sunrise and a member of YouDao Foundation, two non-profit organizations that support education for underprivileged youth. She also served on the Advisory Board for the International Professional Women’s Society, the longest serving organization in Asia to advance the interests of women of all industries and nationalities.

Helen earned a Ph.D. and M.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Illinois and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania, where she graduated with Summa Cum Laude honors.
