Dr. Chengyu Zhang is an Assistant Professor of Finance at Antai College of Economics and Management, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, where he has been teaching and conducting research since 2024. He holds a Ph.D. in Finance from McGill University (2017–2024), where he also completed a Master of Management in Finance (2016–2017). Prior to his graduate studies, he earned an Honours Bachelor of Science with Distinction in Statistics (Quantitative Finance) from the University of Toronto (2011–2016), demonstrating strong analytical and quantitative skills.

Dr. Zhang’s academic expertise spans financial innovation, with a particular interest in FinTech and its applications. At Antai, he teaches Introduction to FinTech, equipping students with knowledge of emerging financial technologies. His research focuses on the intersection of finance, technology, and data-driven decision-making, contributing to the evolving discourse in modern financial systems.
