Tom is currently serving as APAC Board Member, Business Enablement Executive, and Talent & Culture Director in Halma plc, one FTSE 100 company, since 2019. He used to be the acting president for one of the group’s operating companies headquartered in China and is the Non-Executive Director for another headquartered in Cyprus.

Tom was the APAC HR Director in Johnson Controls (one Fortune 500 company), the head for APAC leadership development, and played critical roles such as in Total Quality Management (a certified 6-sigma Black Belt), Supply Chain Management, Business Development, and Customer Experience etc.

Tom was an entrepreneur in between professional management careers, founding a private manufacturing company and established an NGO (Wing-Plan) with friends to support college students’ career. Tom had a very short tenure in the State-Owned-Enterprise in his early career. 

Tom has multi-culture experience through his education and expatriate assignments in UK, US and Thailand besides China. Tom has been a faculty member in Antai College of Economics and Management in Shanghai Jiaotong University. He has taught in Master in International Business (MIB), Master of Finance (MF), MBA and Executive Education (EE).
