Mo Duan is a teacher at the Center for International Chinese Education of the School of Humanities, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, where she has focused on international Chinese language education for 20 years.
In the field of business Chinese language education sector, she has led and completed four university-level teaching and research projects, one university-level textbook project, and one university-level online course.
Her publications include three business Chinese textbooks (two as the chief editor and one as one of the authors) and several relevant academic papers.
She has won the second prize in the teaching competition at university-level and the first prize at the college-level.
Mo Duan holds a Ph.D. in Linguistics and Applied Linguistics from Shanghai Normal University. Her research interests include the second language teaching and Chinese grammar. She participated in a major project of the National Social Science Foundation of China (completed), and was awarded a grant from the National Publication Foundation.
